Florence has been working in the fields of anger, conflict and training for the past 19 years.  She qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and began to specialise exclusively in family law.  She undertook training with Relate. She subsequently qualified as a mediator in 1998. In September 2003 she undertook the first UK training to become a Collaborative Family Lawyer. She is an accredited mediator with the Family Mediators Association and an accredited member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association).  Over the years she has lectured for Resolution and other legal training organizations, and she has provided workshops for mediation organizations.

In 2004 Florence attended a programme to deal with her anger problem.  She found the course so helpful that she became passionate about increasing the availability of such focused help and went on to train to become a facilitator. In 2006 she was awarded a diploma in anger management facilitation by the British Association of Anger Management.  Having facilitated courses for the British Association of Anger Management, she then set up STOP SEEING RED. Her aim was to provide flexible, high quality and cost effective Dealing with Anger and Conflict courses.
